We have three of these diffs from a project that never went ahead. They are still wrapped from UK, where they were bought "out of a car" and sent here "as is" and have sat sealed on the shelf since. NOW WITH LIMITED WARRANTY.... SEE BELOW

The 3.9 diff is highly sought-after as it is a magical part from later cars that fits many earlier cars? The diff is also much younger than 1950s ones, being from the seventies.
The cars it fits are Austin A30, A35, A40 (Farina), Morris Minor, Morris 1000, Morris 1000 5cwt and 7cwt van, Riley 1.5, Wolseley 1500, and the MG Midget *
*Major Elite also with a change in spline gears
Many of these cars are from the fifties and early sixties, and the ratios they were supplied with were for a bygone age, conditions and use... and, frankly, they are now useless for normal driving... eg the A30 on the freeway is screaming at 75, never mind 90k.
For example, this diff will have a huge effect on A30 s most of which are at least 4.875**. ( Morries are 4.55 and worse). Expect at least the same effect as an overdrive gearbox and even more in an A30. Current rpm at 80kph will propel you at 100+ in an A30!! This is the best upgrade you're gonna do for your tin-mate, my A30 barrels along with this diff in... and with the EN17 axles*** you're laughing.
**Some are even worse ratios? at 5.125 and even 5.325
*** The EN17 axles or half-shafts are for A30 and A35 and pre ?67 Midget only, the original axles (half-shafts) can be changed from the absolute rubbish EN8 to really amazing EN17. see separate listing on this. Sorry not MM for axles, you?re stuck with your old ones.
No offers below $600... don't even bother ringing if you're considering this as it wastes everyones time. These are 200 POUNDS plus in UK and at least another 140 POUNDS to get out here, plus all the searching, packaging, oofing and aahhing etc etc.... and the dollar has dived again to 1.75+ If you don't want to pay, then simply don't ring me and go find your own in UK or USA with no warranty. For cash I will accept 600 and that is it... these have gone on Australialisted before for 700 to 800... there is a dealer in Qld asking 950.
AS PER Australialisted, I OFFER A LIMITED WARRANTY... IF YOU'RE NOT HAPPY WITH YOUR DIFF THEN i WILL REPLACE IT WITH ANOTHER. THIS IS FOR LOCAL AND FREIGHT. iF YOU USE FREIGHT THEN ALL FREIGHT BACK AND FORTH IS YOUR RESPOSIBILITY ON THE WARRANTY.
each diff is marked and macro-photographed. if you want to use the warranty the diff must not be played with in any way... i don't care how "expert" the person is. You put it in... that's it... no changing seals and bearings... or no warranty.
BE AWARE I HAVE ACCESS TO CHEAP FREIGHT THOUGH AND WILL BE HAPPY TO HELP YOU... EG SYSDNEY OFTEN 30 TO 40 WITH INSURANCE AND SIGNATURE AT END. The retrurn trip nsw to here could be more due to our freight industry setup..
